Eli Greenbaum Joins The Library Board

The Bloomfield Township Public Library Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome Eli Greenbaum to the Board. Mr. Greenbaum is filling a vacancy on the Board created by the resignation of Trustee Joseph Falik. Mr. Greenbaum brings an outstanding list of qualifications to the position. The trustees supported his appointment because of his experience and expertise in many areas, including his past and current involvement with our Library on strategic planning and 50th anniversary committees.
Library Board President Judy Lindstrom stated that, “This was a very difficult decision on the part of the Trustees. Any one of the eight candidates would have been a tremendous asset on the Board.”
A long time Bloomfield Township resident, Mr. Greenbaum is marketing and advertising specialist and offered many ideas for getting the word out to the community regarding library services. He is an avid library user and is very enthusiastic about serving our community. Mr. Greenbaum shared that “I’m honored to serve on the Library Board of Trustees. I believe the Library has a responsibility to its public and the public also has a responsibility to its library."
Mr. Greenbaum will be issued the oath of office by Bloomfield Township Clerk Jan Roncelli on March 19, 2013 at 6:45pm, prior to the regular Library Board meeting. Everyone is invited to attend.
