Again this year the Bloomfield Township Public Library is supporting the Detroit Free Press Gift of Reading program by being a drop-off location for new books for children.  With all of our support, we  hope to encourage young children to discover the pleasures of reading and to develop a life-long reading habit.  During the holiday season, the Detroit Free Press distributes new books to needy, at-risk Michigan children.  New unwrapped books are needed for children from birth to 12 years old.  To support this program, please drop off your Gift of Reading book donation at the Library by November 30, 2010.

For further information, contact the Detroit Free Press Gift of Reading office at (313) 222-6895.
