For years we have relied on print reference resources to find information. Many of these resources are no longer available in print but are now accessible online with the eReference collection. Online resources take these references off the shelf and make them available at the click of a mouse 24/7. Not only can you access them at home (available to Bloomfield Township Library cardholders) but you have the ability to search for information in ways you could not do in print.
We have just completed converting our reference print titles to electronic versions of those books (eReference). Hundreds of eReference titles have just been added to our full text reference collection. Use the Gale Virtual Reference Library, Oxford Reference Online, InfoBase eBooks and the Gale Directory Library to help you answer any reference question you may have!

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of electronic encyclopedias and specialized reference sources, also known as eBooks, for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).
