Check This Out…Biographies
It’s that time of the school year – the time when it seems like every student has to do a report on someone famous. Our biography section is sure to be helpful for these assignments. It is also a useful tool if your child is simply a fan of a particular person or you if you want to help foster an interest in someone to admire.
From contemporary sports players and popular entertainers to historical figures both known and obscure, the Library's Youth Department prides itself on maintaining a wide range of interesting biographical subjects. Additionally, we subscribe to several biographical databases if you or your child prefers to do your research online. Choose the "Youth Database" option under the "Find It Online" tab of the Library's website, www.btpl.org. Either way, make sure to check out our biographies today!
