PRIVACY POLICY
The Bloomfield Township Public Library recognizes its patron library records and
other records with personally identifying information to be confidential in nature. Neither
the BTPL, nor any employee, Trustee, or volunteer thereof, will share, sell, rent, or

The copy center hosts 3 black and white printers and one color printer.

The black and white printers offer paper sizes:

8.5 x 11, and 8.5 x 14, at 10 cents per page

11 x 17 size paper and double-sided copies are 20 cents per page

Color copies are 50 cents per page.
 

There are 18 study rooms available. Out of these rooms, 4 seat six people, 3 seat four people, and 11 seat two people. Important guidelines for patrons who wish to use the study rooms are:

The helpdesk assists patrons with the library’s computers, copiers, printers, and Internet.

Those who work at the helpdesk support patrons with basic computer use and facilitate the use of the library’s resources.

Residents and employees of Bloomfield Township have special privileges, which require the use of a Bloomfield Township library card.  These include the following:

• Accessing library databases outside the Library
• Using study rooms
• Using your library card to load money for the Library copy machines
• Placing holds on checked out and on shelf items at  BTPL
• Placing MelCat and interlibrary loan requests
• Checking out Cranbrook passes at the Circulation desk
• Reserving meeting rooms
• Participating in the MI Big Green Gym Program
• Access to the Michigan Activity Pass
• Unlimited access to computers
