New DVDs for the Week of January 6, 2020

Joker– Warner Bros. Pictures presents Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, alongside Oscar winner Robert De Niro, and the film is directed, produced and co-written by Oscar nominee Todd Phillips. A Million Little Pieces– An alcoholic and drug addict, 23 year-old James has two options: treatment or death. After waking up on a plane with a smashed up face and no memory of the past few weeks, he heads to rehab where he discovers much more than detox and therapy.

Bombardier Blood– An inspirational and emotional journey following one young mountaineer and activist’s historic quest to complete the Seven Summits, and to inspire an international community to help suffering ‘blood brothers and sisters’ around the globe.

Big Little Lies: Season 2– On the surface, everything seems the same in the seaside town of Monterey, CA: mothers continue to dote, husbands support, children are adorable, houses are beautiful. But the night of the school fundraiser changed all that. Meanwhile, Perry’s grieving mother, Mary Louise Wright, comes to town in search of answers.
