Library Card Design Contest

June 1 – June 30

How much do you love your library? Show us by designing a new library card! Artists of all ages are invited to submit their design for one of three new library cards!

Rules & Judging:

  • Open to all Bloomfield Township residents.
  • All designs must be hand drawn, using the printed template form (available at all Library service desks June 1 – 30).
  • Artists can use colored pencil, pen, paint, markers, crayons, and/or other hand drawing medium. (No AI designs, please.)
  • All designs must be original, previously unpublished, and free of copyright.
  • Do not include your name in the artwork.
  • Entries will be grouped into 3 categories (12 and younger; 13 – 17; 18 and older).
  • Artwork will be judged in the first round by the Design Contest Committee based on the design and how it reflects the Library and the Bloomfield Township community.
  • The top 10 designs will continue to the second round of judging by public vote, July 16 – 22.
  • All entries must be submitted at any Library service desk by June 30.
  • Entry forms submitted by a minor must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.
  • The top designs in each age group will be selected for a public vote between July 16 – 22.
  • Limit one (1) entry per person.

Prizes!

  • A $100 gift card prize for winners in each category, along with a feature article in our quarterly print newsletter.
