EVERY NOTE PLAYED / Lisa Genova

This is the story of Richard Evans a self- absorbed artist.  He is an accomplished concert pianist performing all over the world.  In perfecting his craft, he has neglected his wife and daughter.  Richard develops ALS and has no one in his life to turn to for help as his disease advances.  His ex-wife, Karina, a gifted pianist in her own right, is faced with a tough decision regarding helping Richard after a life of disappointments at his hand.  The author explores the complexities of relationships, ALS and forgiveness with skill.     Nancy 9/14/2018
