DVD FAREWELL AMOR
Farewell Amor– Seventeen years after his family was separated by the civil war in Angola, a New York taxi driver is reunited with his now devoutly religious wife and teenage daughter when they are finally able to follow him to America. But after living thousands of miles apart for so long, the three find they must discover one another’s strengths, forgive one another’s weaknesses, and bridge cultural and generational divides to build a life together.
Father Stu– When an injury ends his amateur boxing career, Stuart Long moves to Los Angeles to find money and fame. While scraping by as a supermarket clerk, he meets Carmen, a Sunday school teacher who seems immune to his bad-boy charm. Determined to win her over, the longtime agnostic starts going to church to impress her. However, a motorcycle accident leaves him wondering if he can use his second chance to help others, leading to the surprising realization that he’s meant to be a Catholic priest.
Morbius– Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.
Billions: Season 6– In season six, the dust clears to reveal a world that has evolved. With Axe gone and Michael Prince assuming his place, Chuck must develop a new strategy that is keener and more sophisticated than before. All the players, from Wags to Wendy, from Taylor to Sacker, and of course Senior, must sharpen their weapons and look for new alliances in order to survive.
Hacks: Season 1– Multiple Emmy Award winner Jean Smart stars as a legendary Las Vegas comedian who is forced to hire an ambitious young writer. These two talented comedic voices from different generations form an unlikely bond in this new comedy from “Broad City” alums Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky and Emmy Award winning executive producer Michael Schur.
