Cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, comic book or video game. It originated with Japanese manga but is now a standard practice at many science fiction and fantasy conventions. You may have also heard of “Disney bounding” which is similar to cosplay, though here, one would dress in the style or manner of the movie or book, not necessarily as a specific character. We would encourage “book bounding” at our discussion as well.
