Digital Book Library
Looking for ebooks, both fiction and nonfiction?  Download the Overdrive  app on your smartphone or table to access thousands of ebooks and downloadable audiobooks.  Hoopla offers ebooks, audiobooks, movies, television shows, music and comic books to download.

Ever find yourself working on a paper and you need just one more reference to prove your point, but it happens to be midnight and the Library is closed?  We have an amazing collection of digital eReference sources available to you anytime.  These are real books that are made available in a digital version that you can access through our databases.  

Research Databases for Homework Help
Biographies, Science experiments,  issues and controversies hot topics and more can be found in our online research databases perfect for homework help.   Tutor.com allows you to access a qualified, vetted online tutor from 4-10 p.m. every day. Tutors will utilize an online blackboard to assist you in almost every subject area for free.  Log on to connect.

Learn through the Library
Gale Courses offers free six-week courses on a variety of subjects including Introduction to Algebra and ACT/SAT test preparation.  Sign up is usually the 2nd Wednesday of each month.  Language learners–take a look at Mango Languages, a comprehensive online learning site to help you master a language.

Free Music from the Libray
Freegal is a free app available to Bloomfield Township Residents.  Download up to 5 songs a week for free on your smartphones or tablets.    Hoopla is another free app that lets you check out whole albums to enjoy over a week’s time.    You may stream even more music from the Alexander Street Press.  Visit our Music Download page to access these.
