World Braille Day

World Braille Day is celebrated every year on January 4 in honor of Louis Braille’s birthday. Louis Braille invented this tactile system for reading in 1824 and it’s still used all over the world. Browse through our list of children’s Braille books here or ask a librarian the next time you’re in the library!
