Rose, a fifth-grader with Asperger’s, has very few friends and finds comfort in things many other people ignore, including homonyms, prime numbers, rules, and her dog Rain. When Rain goes missing during Hurricane Susan, Rose devises a detailed plan to get her back that takes her outside of her usual day-to-day routine. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
