*The Friends are currently not accepting book donations at this time. The Second Saturday sale has been temporarily suspended.
The Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library is a group of people who believe that any community is a better place to live if it has a first-rate library. The Friends have an active role in supporting and promoting the library. This avid and enthusiastic group of volunteers dedicates their time, talent, and resources to raising funds to support the Library beyond its operating budget. As a 501(c) 3 organization, the Friends raise funds through their monthly Second Saturday sales, books, and media sales in the Library Shop, donations, and memberships to the Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library. Your purchases in the Library Shop and at our monthly sales have allowed the Friends to donate over $1.3 million dollars to support the Library beyond their operating budget. Those extras include the artwork and sculptures that you see around the Library, the beautiful gardens, and much of the music, children’s, and special needs programs. We also support additions to existing Library collections and enhancements to both Adult and Children’s programs.
Contact us at email@example.com. Thank you for your generosity!

Be sure to check out the Second Saturday Sales in the Lower Level. These sales are offered each month from 9:30 a.m.-.3:30 p.m., with the first hour (9:30-10:30 a.m.) open to Friends members only. Memberships are very affordable and are available at the door on the day of the sale.
Periodically we will have a Sunday sale. Check the Library calendar throughout the year for those dates. Sunday sales run from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m. The Friends now accept Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards with a $15 minimum purchase. Come join us and find your bargain book, movie, or music!
The Library greatly appreciates your donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Friends of the Library. Currently, we are NOT accepting magazines, LPs, condensed books, cassettes tapes, records, encyclopedias, self-taped videos, or audios. Donations are tax-deductible; check with your tax adviser as to the value of your donation.
Our book donation room is open the same hours as the Library and is located on the west side of the building, just a short walk down the sidewalk to the staff and delivery entrances. Five-minute parking is permitted in the delivery zone, and carts are available in the donation room to help transport your items. To receive an acknowledgment of your donation, please complete a donor receipt card, self-address and leave it in the box provided in the donation room. Your donations are greatly appreciated! For more information on how to donate, go to the Library’s Donation page.
