Ashley already has to deal with her face blindness (the inability to recognize faces), but now her best friend is off to summer camp and then permanently moving out of state. Her dreads her summer even more when she learns her mother has arranged for her to babysit a friend’s 7-year old daughter over the summer. Things look up after she discovers a magical “wishing jar” in the family’s basement. Heartwarming fantasy with a touch of mystery.
