When the headmistress of the St. Etheldreda’s School for Young Ladies drops dead, along with her brother, at the boarding school’s Sunday dinner, the seven female students are faced with a choice: notify the police and return to their own dreadful homes or dispose of the bodies and live happily ever after together at the school. After deciding to go with the second choice, things don’t go at all as planned, and soon the seven girls are faced with disasters from every possible angle. A mysterious dark comedy for readers in grades 6 and up.
