As of January 29, 2025, the library has received the following tax forms and instructions:
- MI-1040 individual income tax forms and instructions booklet
- Federal 1040 (and 1040-SR) instructions booklet
- Federal 1040 form
- Federal 1040-SR form
We expect to receive limited quantities of the Michigan 1040 Individual Income Tax forms and instructions in the coming weeks. Please check back regularly for updates.

We are happy to print forms upon request at the Adult and Teen Services desk. We will also make forms available for curbside pickup. To arrange curbside pickup, call 248-642-5800 ext. 171 or email askadult@btpl.org with your name, the exact forms and/or instructions you need, how many of each you want, and when you plan on picking them up.
A friendly reminder: Librarians are happy to print specific forms and instructions, but cannot provide tax help or advice.
AARP Tax-Aide at the Library
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be held at the Library on Thursday, March 13, and Thursday, April 3, 2025. Register by calling the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation at (248) 451-1900.
IRS-certified AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free tax assistance for low- and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention given to those 60 and older. Federal, state, and local returns will be prepared. Please be sure to bring picture ID, Social Security card/s, last year’s tax returns, and all relevant financial forms.
