Other federal and state forms and instructions are available online and may be printed upon request. Please visit the Adult & Teen Services desk to ask that the library print forms and instructions for you, or print them yourself from these sites:

Library desk staff cannot answer questions or give advice regarding taxes or tax preparation, nor can staff recommend tax preparers.

AARP Tax Aide Help Line
If you are age 60 or older and have a question regarding your taxes, leave a message on the AARP Tax Aide line at 248-592-7418; a volunteer will get back to you.
Free Online Tax Preparation
The IRS offers free online tools to prepare and file your federal tax return.
- IRS Free File: An online tool that will guide you through filling out your tax return. Only for taxpayers whose adjusted gross income (AGI) is $84,000 or less.
- IRS Free Fillable Forms: Prepare and file your taxes online; follow IRS instructions and fill out the forms on your own.
