Bloomfield Township Public Library is pleased welcome the Daughters of the American Revolution-Piety Hill Chapter (DAR) and Sons of the American Revolution Chapters (SAR) for a Genealogy Workshop Saturday, March 15, noon – 3 p.m.
Volunteer genealogists from the DAR and SAR will provide a consultation of up to 30 minutes of guidance and assistance with your lineage questions. Whether you are beginning your genealogy research or are more advanced, all are welcome to attend this workshop. Registration is suggested but not required. Register by sending email to pietyhillregistrar@gmail.com. Walk-ins will be placed as genealogists are available.
Participants should bring family names, birth, marriage, and death dates including the places where these events occurred plus a pen and notebook. Bringing a laptop is optional. A preliminary area of focus prior to attending will be helpful.
