Lena may look like a chicken, but deep down in her feathered heart, she knows she’s a dinosaur. Lena is brave, bold, and believes in standing up for herself. Unfortunately, her fellow chickens don’t quite understand her. They think Lena is in over her head. When danger appears, they believe it’s best to run away. After all, they aren’t dinosaurs.
Lena is not convinced, though. All chickens need is a little gumption and a mighty roar to show the world they are just as fierce as their ancestors. That is, until a hungry weasel arrives at the farm and sends the coop into a frenzy. What’s a mighty chicken to do? Perhaps it’s time for Lena to dig deep and take a stand, not just for herself, but for every chicken. For ages 3 to 7.
